An Easy Way To Reduce Calories
Chew gum.
Yep, it’s that easy to reduce calories.
According to a recent study, chewing gum before an afternoon snack helps to reduce hunger and food cravings. It also makes you feel more full.
The daily impact of chewing gum may be small. But over time, it could lead to a significant weight loss.
Here’s what the study found:
Chewing gum decreased caloric intake by an average of 25 calories across all snacks. But it reduced sweet snacking by 39 calories and salty snacking by 11 calories.
Both hunger and the desire to eat were reduced by chewing gum at 1, 2, and 3-hour intervals after lunch.
Chewing gum can decrease anxiety and stress while increasing relaxation and contentment.
This worked even for people who weren’t trying to lose weight.

25 or 39 calories doesn’t sound like much, but when I added it up over a year, I could lose a few pounds with no effort at all. That’s my kind of weight loss. Keep these kinds of ideas coming!

Won’t the calories in the gum offset the calories you don’t eat?
